Yovie & Nuno return with a new release, presenting an EP titled Kilometer. Yovie Widianto leads the production alongside Ari Renaldi.

The EP features six tracks.

Three songs revisit earlier hits with fresh arrangements, while the remaining three introduce new material, including the title track “Kilometer.”

Yovie explains that the team carefully selected each song.

They aim to present a renewed sound from the current lineup while keeping the essence of Yovie & Nuno intact.

He suggests that the blend of familiar character and new energy becomes the main thread that shapes the EP’s overall story.

The band’s busy performance schedule plays a major role in the long gap between their previous album and this release.

Even so, Yovie believes the EP will meet expectations from fans who have been waiting for new music.

Over the years, Yovie & Nuno have built a strong reputation for producing hit songs, even after going through multiple lineup changes.

In this latest formation, the band brings together Adhyra Yudhi and Chico Andreas on vocals, with Ady Julian on keyboards and Muchamad Ahadiyat on guitar.

With this lineup, they begin to shape a fresh musical direction.

They introduce songs like “Misal” and “Yang Baru,” while also presenting a reimagined version of “Bunga Jiwaku.”

These songs bring a refreshed color while keeping the band’s identity intact.

They also chose the EP format so each track can receive full attention from listeners.

One of the key highlights in this release is the single “Kilometer.”

Yovie worked on the song together with Arsy Widianto.

He explains that the lyrics reflect a modern style that connects with today’s generation.

Still, the arrangement keeps the signature touch of Yovie & Nuno, with melodic elements influenced by 1980s music.

Despite their long journey, Yovie & Nuno continue to hold on to their strong musical identity.

This can be seen in their well-known songs such as “Manusia Biasa,” “Menjaga Hati,” and “Tanpa Cinta.”

In Kilometer, they allow their sound to evolve naturally while staying true to who they are.

Through this EP, the band hopes their fans can enjoy the music and sing along during their upcoming anniversary concert.

The 25 Years Janji Suci Yovie & Nuno show will take place at Istora Senayan on June 13, 2026.

Meanwhile, Kilometer is now available on major digital streaming platforms.
