Main-Main di Cipete Vol. 39 Showcases Indie Voices

Main-Main Di Cipete vol. 39

The music program Main-Main di Cipete Vol. 39 made its return to Casatopia Cafe in Cipete, South Jakarta.

The event took place on Monday night, January 19, 2026.

As the clock struck 7 PM, the venue came alive with music and anticipation.

As a weekly gathering, the night was guided by hosts Eno Suratno Wongsodimedjo and Qenny Alyanno.

Together, they set the tone for an intimate and welcoming atmosphere.

The stage then belonged to four main acts: Maseja, Mahia, Chrisalia, and Explicit Sentimental, each bringing their own story and sound to the evening.

Over time, Main-Main di Cipete has grown into more than just a regular music event.

It has shaped itself into a trusted creative space where independent musicians and emerging talents feel at home.

Here, they can share their work directly with an audience and turn each performance into a personal, meaningful exchange.

Moreover, the event embraces an intimate gig concept from the very start.

This setup allows performers and listeners to connect at close range, without distance or barriers.

As a result, every set feels more personal, more honest, and deeply meaningful for everyone in the room.

Performers at Main-Main Di Cipete Vol. 39

One of the highlights of the evening came from Maseja.

After a 12-year hiatus, he returned to the music scene with the release of his mini album Diantara in late 2025.

During his performance, he brought several songs to the stage, including “Diantara,” “HadirMu,” and “Serasa Asmara.”

Each track carried a distinct retro-modern touch that felt familiar yet fresh.

Together, the songs reflected a chapter of his musical journey shaped by reflection, while still carrying a sense of optimism about what lies ahead.

Meanwhile, Chrisalia delivered a captivating performance of her own.

The young singer first gained public attention through her appearance on Indonesian Idol Season 12.

On stage, she performed several songs she has already released.

Among them were “Papa,” “Hari Bersamamu,” and “Rindu,” which she delivered with confidence and emotion.

One moment that truly stood out came when she performed “Rindu.”

The song tells a deeply emotional story about longing for someone from the past.

Through her heartfelt delivery on stage, she revealed a new level of vocal maturity and emotional control.

Next Performances Made The Night Felt Intimate

In contrast, Explicit Sentimental brought a different musical color to the night.

The band gained attention through its collaboration with Dillenia on the single “Abyss of Goodbye,” released in December 2025.

Their performance blended indie, pop, and rock influences into a cohesive sound.

Poetic lyrics explored themes of human relationships, loss, and the search for identity.

As the set unfolded, it added emotional depth and broadened the sonic atmosphere of the entire night.

At the same time, Mahia appeared as a fresh new talent with original material.

Introducing her single “Pernah Nyaman,” she showed promising potential and a strong artistic direction.

Her appearance further proved that Main-Main di Cipete truly provides a platform for young musicians to find their audience.
