Inspiration Behind The Song
The single grew from a deep sense of loss and longing.
Anca created the song as a heartfelt tribute to his brother, who inspired him and played a major role in his decision to pursue music.
He recalled how they grew up together and how his brother acted as both protector and close friend.
He also shared how his brother first introduced him to music.
His brother was the one who first pulled him into band activities.
He took him along to regular gigs, letting him see the world from the stage and behind it.
Through those moments, his brother gave him many early experiences that quietly shaped his path in music.
Through the lyrics, Anca delivers a quiet monologue about loneliness and longing.
The line “Bila ku tanpa kamu bagai malam gelap tanpa bintang” becomes the core metaphor of the song.
It paints a picture of his brother as the “light” in his life, a steady glow that once guided him through everything.
Now, that light is gone.
What remains is the silence, the darkness, and the space where that warmth used to be.
Anca also explained that his brother always carried his drum kit everywhere.
Before he passed away, he gave the drum to Anca, and it now sits in Anca’s studio.
After the loss, Anca struggled to enter the studio because it held too many memories.
Yet when he finally gathered the courage to walk inside, the lyrics began to flow naturally. That moment became the beginning of this song.
