Chintya Gabriella returns with her latest release, “Panjang Umur,” a heartfelt single dedicated to those celebrating their birthdays.

Yet, beyond the cheerful message, the song carries a deeper theme, self-love and appreciation for oneself.

The Medan-born singer shared that the inspiration came from people who often celebrate birthdays but forget to celebrate themselves.

She explained that many tend to hide their feelings or avoid self-reflection, and that became her motivation to write the song.

After collaborating with Petra Sihombing on her two previous singles, Chintya continued working with him on “Panjang Umur.”

Both artists contributed to the lyrics and arrangement.

Despite having different creative perspectives, they managed to blend their ideas seamlessly and produce something refreshing.

Chintya revealed that the production process took about two months.

She originally wrote the song in 2024 as a draft, but later decided to finish it in 2025 with Petra’s help once it was chosen as her third single.

Musically, “Panjang Umur” still carries Chintya’s signature touch, honest lyrics and catchy melodies.

However, this time she explored something new. She categorized it as a “middle song” and invited Kamga to handle the backing vocals.

According to her, Kamga’s vocal treatment added a fresh and slightly different tone to her usual sound.

For inspiration, Chintya mentioned Meghan Trainor, the American singer-songwriter known for her empowering pop style.

She drew influence from Trainor’s ability to combine upbeat music with meaningful messages.

Through “Panjang Umur,” Chintya aims to remind listeners that each birthday is a blessing worth celebrating.

She emphasized that growing older means getting another chance to try again, heal, and hope for better days.

She encouraged her listeners to see birthdays not just as another date, but as a chance to embrace life with gratitude.

Her message is simple yet profound, celebrating yourself is an act of self-love.

She wants listeners to feel an emotional connection through her words and melodies.

For her, “Panjang Umur” isn’t just a song — it’s a soft reminder to love yourself a little more each day.

It’s also an invitation to look back and appreciate every chapter of your journey, no matter how hard or beautiful it was.

Her latest single, “Panjang Umur,” is now available on all major digital music platforms.
