Dee Lestari opens “Kabarku” with a reflection on how love stories never lose their relevance.

People continue to explore love and all its layers, finding new ways to tell familiar stories.

Even after countless songs on the subject, fresh perspectives and unique voices keep the theme alive and necessary.

This emotional space becomes the core of “Kabarku”, the third single from Dee Lestari.

The release follows her earlier tracks “(Jangan) Jatuh Cinta” and “Perahu Kertas.”

Through this song, she captures a feeling many people recognize: loving in silence, facing heartbreak, and holding everything inside.

Dee delivers the track with a warm melody and poetic yet direct lyrics, creating a sound that feels both memorable and relatable.

For this project, she collaborates with Fellow Amateurs, a group of young producers that includes Mikha Angelo, Josua Gian, Geddi Jaddi Membummi, and Nathania S. Alexandra.

Dee Lestari and Her Longtime Collaborator

This collaboration builds on a history of shared work.

Dee previously teamed up with Mikha Angelo on “Before You,” part of the Rapijali soundtrack.

She also worked with Fellow Amateurs on “Satu Langkah,” performed by Maudy Ayunda.

In “Kabarku,” they shape a soulful and modern arrangement that strengthens the emotional weight of the story and ties every element together.

Alongside the audio release, the team also introduces a lyric video to deepen the experience.

The visual is directed by Anthono Congor and Arie Dagienkz, bringing a thoughtful interpretation of the song’s emotion.

Through this visual layer, the mood of the track feels more complete and immersive.

With this release, Dee Lestari continues to show her consistency in crafting meaningful music.

It also reflects her commitment to returning to the spotlight as a solo artist after a long break.

“Kabarku” is now available on digital streaming platforms and will appear on her upcoming solo album, scheduled for release in mid-2026.
