Kaufmann has teamed up with German techno veteran Oliver Huntemann for their first-ever collaboration, “K.O.”

Released via Drumcode, the track brings together two generations of German techno artists while marking another milestone in Kaufmann’s growing career.

The collaboration follows years of creative connections between the two producers, making “K.O.” a natural next step rather than an unexpected partnership.

Kaufmann and Oliver Huntemann Build on a Long-Standing Connection

Although “K.O.” marks their first official collaboration, Kaufmann and Huntemann have crossed paths for years.

Kaufmann previously released several EPs on Huntemann’s Senso Sounds label, including “Poolboi” and “Ibu 3000.”

She has also cited Huntemann as one of her biggest influences, even revealing in a previous interview that “Unravel Me” was her most-played track at the time.

That shared musical history laid the foundation for a collaboration that combines their individual production styles into a cohesive techno record.

“K.O.” blends sleek grooves with squelching synth work and subtle psychedelic textures.

The result is a driving techno record built for peak-time dancefloors and the summer festival season.

The release also marks Kaufmann’s first appearance on Drumcode in 2026.

It follows her contributions to DC4 Vol. 1 with “Broncho’s Sandman” and A-Sides Vol. 14 with “People Are Strange.”

For Huntemann, “K.O.” represents another step in his Drumcode journey.

Huntemann has been one of European techno’s leading names for decades. His relationship with Drumcode continues to grow.

Last year, he appeared on A-Sides Vol. 14 with “TrackonTrack.”

A Shared Vision Behind the Collaboration

Kaufmann described the collaboration as an enjoyable experience. Both producers brought different creative approaches to the project.

In the end, they shared the same goal.

She felt that shared mindset allowed them to become an effective team.

Huntemann echoed that sentiment.

He said the partnership felt natural from the beginning. They approached the collaboration from different creative perspectives.

Even so, they shared the same artistic vision.
