Larung has announced the release of their second album, Damai, Bahagia, Sertamu, set to arrive on April 2, 2026 across all digital platforms.
This project marks a new chapter for the band, as they explore deeper musical ideas and more personal reflections.
Formed in 2016 in the Tangerang area, Larung previously released their debut album insom in 2023.
Now, they return with an updated lineup featuring tikobetus on vocals, josu on guitar, Wahyu Akbar on drums, and Reza Mauliddin on bass.
The addition of tikobetus and Reza in early 2025 brings a fresh dynamic to the group.
Their presence shapes a new sonic direction that feels more expansive and expressive.

Inside The Album
The album features 12 Indonesian-language tracks that move across grunge, alternative, garage rock, funk, punk, and pop.
Larung blends these styles with unexpected arrangements and cinematic touches, creating a sound that feels chaotic yet controlled.
Through this approach, the band builds a cohesive listening experience that remains bold and unpredictable.
Lyrically, the album explores spirituality, self-awareness, and thoughts people often avoid during stable moments.
Rather than offering simple messages, the lyrics invite listeners to reflect and connect on a deeper level.
Josu shared that the album brings him closer to his musical vision, as the band combines multiple genres with meaningful and spiritual themes.
Meanwhile, tikobetus described the album as a reflection of awareness that they offer to listeners, carrying messages of peace and happiness.
Reza added that the album represents a journey from chaos to calm, from anxiety to peace, and from isolation toward connection.
In closing, bgnx expressed hope that listeners would be ready to experience all 12 tracks.

Production Process from Larung
Larung spent more than a year producing the album. During that time, they stepped away from the stage to focus on the creative process.
They immersed themselves in their inner thoughts, then translated those emotions into music with careful attention to detail.
The band handled the entire production independently.
They recorded most tracks live at Dexter Studio and NM Studio to capture their raw energy.
In addition, they completed several recordings at Sampurna’s home studio and Studio Adiksi.
The album includes 12 tracks:
- Menanam Racun (feat. Sampurna)
- Lelah
- Waras
- Diamlah (feat. barirul)
- Alien
- Kebonbin
- Berdoalah
- Warhol
- Hidup = Liburan Kosmik
- Melawan Kuasa Gelap
- Damai, Bahagia, Sertamu
- Sembuh Sendiri
Before the album release, the band introduced several singles, including Berdoalah, Sembuh Sendiri, Diamlah, and Menanam Racun.
They also released a music video for Diamlah, strengthening the visual narrative behind their work.
Looking ahead, the band plans to release more music videos for selected tracks.
Beyond digital platforms, Larung will also launch a physical cassette version.
They plan to offer this edition exclusively during a showcase event scheduled for late April 2026.
Overall, the album delivers a rare balance.
It presents structured chaos and layered noise while encouraging deeper awareness through its sound and message.
