Maher Zain has officially released Back To You, his highly anticipated new studio album through Awakening Music.
The project marks Maher Zain’s fourth full-length studio album and his first in a decade.
It follows a series of globally successful singles, including Rahmatun Lil’Alameen and Qalbi Fil Madinah, which reached millions of listeners worldwide.
The 16-track album reflects Maher Zain’s continued artistic evolution.
The album blends Arabic and English songwriting with musical influences from Africa and North Africa.
It remains rooted in faith-inspired themes such as reflection, hope, remembrance of God, and trust in His guidance.
Maher Zain Completes the Back To You Journey
As part of a release strategy aligned with Ramadan, Awakening Music gradually unveiled 11 tracks over the past three months.
Those songs included Take My Hand, Habibi, Ya Muhammad, Qamarun, Allahu Ya Allahu, Sallou, Yama Wo Yama, Da’iman Wa Abada, Al-Hawdh, Yawmul Eid, and Never Let Me Down.
The album is now complete with the release of five additional songs: Hikaya Jamila, Queen of Our Deen, Thank You, I Could’ve Been You, and Not Ready To Die.
Each track explores a different emotional and spiritual perspective, offering moments of reflection, devotion, and encouragement throughout the Ramadan journey and beyond.
Maher Zain said the album’s title reflects its central message of returning to what truly matters.
He explained that Back To You represents a return to God, sincerity, purpose, and faith.
Maher also said his personal and spiritual growth over the past few years shaped the project.
He wanted the music to feel honest, reflective, and meaningful, especially during Ramadan.

An International Collaboration Across Four Countries
The album took shape through a series of international songwriting camps held in Morocco, Türkiye, Sweden, and Indonesia.
The project brought together songwriters and producers from across the Muslim world and beyond.
Collaborators included the global Awakening Music songwriting team, fellow Awakening Music artist Harris J, and Maher Zain’s longtime collaborator Bara Kherigi.
Awakening Music Introduced a New Album Rollout Strategy
Rather than releasing the album all at once, Awakening Music adopted a staggered rollout that accompanied listeners throughout Ramadan.
Each song received its own spotlight before becoming part of the complete album experience.
Bara Kherigi, Managing Director of Awakening Music, described Maher Zain as a once-in-a-generation artist.
He said the singer’s music has become an important part of Ramadan’s spiritual and cultural experience around the world.
He said the label carefully designed Back To You as a musical journey, giving every song the space and meaning it deserved before bringing them together as a complete body of work.
Faith and Reflection Remain at the Heart of Back To You
Several songs explore themes of relying on God during moments of uncertainty and solitude.
Others express love and respect for the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ while reflecting humanity’s search for purpose, guidance, and connection.
Together, the tracks create an immersive listening experience that encourages reflection as much as enjoyment.
Through Back To You, Maher Zain further strengthens his position as one of today’s leading voices in spiritually inspired music, delivering a body of work that reaches across cultures, languages, and generations.
Awakening Music said more information about accompanying visual content and future releases will be announced at a later date.
