Jairic Continues to Blend Storytelling With Dynamic Hip-Hop
Born and raised in Detroit before relocating to Cannes, France, Jairic has steadily expanded his profile through a series of exclusive live appearances.
His recent performances include Château Les Alouettes in Cannes, Villa Balbiano on Lake Como, and the Paris premiere of the short film Azur.
His music draws inspiration from Nas, Wu-Tang Clan, Detroit’s underground hip-hop culture, classic funk, 1960s rock, and cinematic scores.
The result is a style that combines personal storytelling with versatile production, drawing comparisons to artists such as Eminem, Macklemore, and Machine Gun Kelly.
Don’t Let Me Put A Track On You originally appeared on Jairic’s 2025 EP n=40.
The release received editorial support from Rolling Stone UK, Wonderland Magazine, NOTION, CLASH Magazine, EARMILK, and NPR Music.
NERVO Gives the Original Track a Powerful Techno Makeover
The original version stood out for its evolving arrangement.
It opened with a dark and atmospheric mood before transitioning into a vocal-driven section and finishing with a powerful hip-hop climax.
French electronic duo KRONO later delivered the first official remix of the track.
NERVO now take the song in a different direction.
Their remix introduces driving techno rhythms, punchy percussion, and spacious synth pads that create contrast throughout the arrangement.
The production evolves naturally from beginning to end, making it well suited for fans of Nicky Romero, R3hab, and Thomas Gold.
Reflecting on the remix, NERVO explained that they immediately connected with the original version and decided to increase its tempo to better fit the energy of their live performances.
The duo added that the track has already received a strong response in their DJ sets and expressed hope that listeners will enjoy the remix as much as they do.
