PDJI (Persatuan Disc Jockey Indonesia) took action after a devastating hydrometeorological flood hit East Aceh in late November 2025.
The disaster caused fatalities, injuries, and widespread displacement.
In addition, it damaged homes and public facilities, with total losses estimated in the trillions of rupiah.
In response, communities across Indonesia began raising funds to support Aceh and other affected areas.
Motivated by strong humanitarian values and a deep sense of solidarity, the organization launched a relief initiative called Charity For Aceh.
The organization ran the program both online and offline to maximize support.
In January 2026, they opened an online donation campaign that lasted nearly a month.
The fundraiser officially closed on January 23, 2026.

Soon after, they strengthened its efforts with an offline charity event titled Sound Of Humanity: Charity For Aceh.
The association partnered with Emporium Hotel to host the event at Tease Club on Saturday, January 24, 2026.
DJs from different generations united for the cause.
Performers included Adam Jagwani, Jockie Saputra, Tommy Fans, Sanny Djohan, Iwan Bullebali, Yunie Bosman, Evert Evrain, and Hanika.
Throughout the night, they delivered diverse sets ranging from classic disco and house to progressive and breakbeat.
As a result of these combined efforts, they collected a total of 29 million rupiah.
The organization then transferred the funds to the PDJI Regional Board in Aceh.
The local team used the money to purchase essential goods before delivering them to Aceh Tamiang.
After traveling by land, the PDJI Aceh team arrived in Aceh Tamiang to distribute the aid directly.
They provided medical supplies and basic food assistance to flood victims.
Local village officials and the BABINKAMTIBMAS team supported the distribution process.
Furthermore, PDJI officially reported its humanitarian mission to the Aceh Tamiang Regency Office under the name Desa Perdamaian.
With the funds raised and the aid successfully delivered, the Charity For Aceh initiative has now concluded.
Through this effort, PDJI and its supporters demonstrated strong unity and compassion in helping ease the burden of flood victims in Aceh.
