Uty has officially released her debut EP alongside a new single titled “Pacar Virtual.”
The Indonesian pop singer is known for wearing a mask as part of her stage identity. She uses it as a symbol of artistic freedom.
Instead of focusing on her appearance, she wants listeners to focus on her music.
The EP features four tracks. It includes three brand-new songs and a new version of “Panggil Namaku,” which was originally released last year.
According to Uty, the mask allows her music to take center stage. She wants listeners to focus on her songs instead of her appearance.
Before releasing the EP, Uty introduced herself through the singles “Panggil Namaku” and “Berserah.”
She hopes her latest project will connect with Indonesian listeners and leave a lasting impression through both its music and message.
The title track tells the story of romance in the digital era.
It follows two people who meet through their smartphones and develop a relationship through messages, social media, and video calls.
The song was written by Lilik Purwaning Astuti, owner of WYG Production. Meanwhile, Raditya Ibrahim handled the music arrangement.
The production blends catchy pop melodies with Latin-inspired elements and opens with Spanish-style guitar playing.
Despite its danceable rhythm, the single maintains an easy-listening sound. The arrangement aims to appeal to a broad audience.

Uty Presents Four Different Stories on Her Debut EP
In addition to “Pacar Virtual,” the EP introduces three more songs with different themes.
“Entah Kapan” explores hope and affection through dream pop, ambient, and slowcore influences. The track also features Uty’s husky vocal style.
“Berat Yang Indah” tells the story of love’s emotional journey.
The song highlights both joyful and difficult moments through a pop ballad arrangement.
The EP closes with a reimagined version of “Panggil Namaku.” This version features only acoustic guitar and vocals in a live session format.
Uty revealed that producing “Pacar Virtual” took around two weeks, from arranging the music to recording the vocals.
She described the project as a personal challenge because it differs from her previous ballad releases.
The singer admitted that performing faster-tempo songs challenged her.
Even so, she welcomed the opportunity to explore a different musical direction.
The “Pacar Virtual” EP is now available on digital streaming platforms.
