Fomichev marks the launch of L’Atelier de Musique Recordings with a new version of “Back Together.”
The track is a rework of the 2003 house classic by Dutch duo Hardsoul and Ron Carroll.
The original track became a dancefloor favorite over the past two decades and reached No. 60 on the UK Singles Chart.
This new release also serves as a tribute to Carroll, who passed away in September 2025.
“Back Together” Gets a Modern Club Rework from Fomichev
Rather than simply reissuing the original, Fomichev completely reimagined “Back Together” for modern clubs.
The new version brings a heavier groove and bigger-room energy while preserving the track’s central message of unity on the dancefloor.
The vocals come from Cédric Gasaida, also known as Starving Yet Full.
The singer previously served as the frontman of electronic act Azari & III, one of the notable groups in the 2010s house scene.

A Tribute to Ron Carroll
The new release carries an emotional connection to the original.
Carroll’s passing in September 2025 gives the rework an additional purpose beyond introducing the classic to a new generation.
Gasaida re-records the vocals for the new version.
His performance preserves the spirit of Carroll’s original while giving the track a fresh interpretation.

The project also marks Fomichev’s return to production after a decade.
He is known for tracks such as “Be Good” and his rework of Milk & Sugar’s “Groovejet.” He now runs L’Atelier de Musique Recordings with DJ Miller.
