Italian producer Mazare has joined forces with Scottish band Newshapes for “Ego Death.”
The track serves as the title song from his upcoming Ego Death EP. Universal Music Italia releasing the project on July 31, 2026.
Mazare brings his signature electronic production to the collaboration. Newshapes adds its powerful rock sound.

Mazare has earned support from artists including SLANDER, Illenium, Seven Lions, Said The Sky, Dabin, Koven, and Don Diablo.
Over the past six years, he has mainly released music through Monstercat and Insomniac Records, collecting more than 35 million Spotify streams.
Raised in northeastern Italy, Mazare discovered electronic music after hearing David Guetta’s “When Love Takes Over” in 2009.
Mazare continues to shape his own musical identity. He combines metal, drum & bass, and melodic electronic elements in his productions.
Artists such as The Prodigy, Noisia, and Bring Me The Horizon have influenced his sound.
