Because Of Art, the alias of Alex Grover, is set to release his self-titled debut album on November 13.
The producer joined the label in late 2023 and has since built a strong reputation through standout EPs, compilation appearances, and singles.
Over the past three years, Alex has also performed at several of the label’s notable events, including Open Air London last year.
This summer, he has taken his music across North America and Europe, bringing his energetic performances and signature breakbeat sound to audiences on both continents.
A 25-Year Journey Through Electronic Music
The album reflects Alex’s long relationship with electronic music.
Before becoming a DJ and producer, he spent years experiencing the culture from the dancefloor.
He collected records from renowned London shops such as Phonica and Rough Trade.
He also immersed himself in the city’s club scene, with venues including Ministry of Sound and fabric becoming part of his formative years.
Those experiences, combined with his broad musical curiosity, have shaped the direction of his evolving career.

The 14-track album draws from Alex’s experiences across 25 years of electronic music.
