Gabriella Ekaputri has taken a bold step forward with her most personal and ambitious project yet.
It is her debut EP Midnight’s Promises, released under Universal Music Indonesia.
More than just a mini album, this EP marks her artistic transformation.
It opens a new chapter that reveals her deepest emotions and proves she is ready to shine as a global solo artist.
Midnight’s Promises contains four songs that explore emotional wounds, the pain of broken promises, and the weight of love’s betrayal.
All of these themes are wrapped in rich, cinematic pop arrangements that feel both haunting and intimate.
What makes this EP stand out is the collaboration with an international creative team.

International Team Behind Gabriella Ekaputri
Among them is Swedish producer Harry Sommerdahl, who has worked with global acts such as Westlife, The Pussycat Dolls, BoA, and Il Divo.
He did not work alone in this journey.
Alongside him stood Jonas Peker, Matilda Lindén, Stella Ringdahl, Hugo Andersson, Linnea Gawell, and S/EEK.
Together, they shaped Gabriella’s new sound.
The result is music that feels mature, emotional, and deeply resonant—a sound that marks her transformation as an artist.
Sommerdahl noted that Gabriella had a rare voice that carried honesty, fragility, and power at the same time.
Stella Ringdahl observed that Gabriella entered every session with a clear emotional vision, which made her more than a singer but also a storyteller.
Meanwhile, Jonas Peker explained that many of the songs began with Gabriella’s handwritten notes and voice memos, which gave the process a raw and fearless quality.
Gabriella herself described each track as part of her healing journey.
She explained that the songs reflect experiences of psychological pain, broken promises, and her struggle to survive through them.
However, she emphasized that the EP is not only about sadness but also about finding strength behind the wounds.
Alongside the EP, Gabriella released the music video for “Little by Little.”
