Plan for DWP25

Sarah explained that DWP25 marks the festival’s 17th edition since its debut in 2008 under the name Blowfish Warehouse Project.

She noted that Bali previously hosted DWP in 2018 and 2023.

She went on to talk about the venue and the ideas behind the festival.

According to her, every element continues to evolve and elevate the experience.

She explained that the team had been exploring several new concepts since 2023.

And this year, those long-planned ideas finally come to life.

She also spoke about DWP’s role as a year-end flagship festival.

In her view, Bali is the right home for it.

She believes the island deserves to host DWP on this scale.

Sarah described it as a destination festival that draws tens of thousands of fans.

And she noted that these fans travel from many different countries to be part of it.

Argi then introduced the Garudha Land stage, which will highlight fire and water elements.

He also shared an update about Orbit360.

The stage first appeared for just one day in 2024.

It quickly became a fan favorite because of its unique viewing angle.

This year, Orbit360 will return for all three days.

He said this change will give the audience a wider range of viewing experiences.

As in previous years, ISMAYA Live held Road to DWP events in the months leading up to the festival.

These took place not only across Indonesia but also in countries such as Japan and Vietnam, receiving strong responses from local audiences.

Furthermore, ISMAYA Live launched DWP Music Week, running from 5–10 December 2025.

This 10-day series features culinary, sports, music, and wellness activities designed to build momentum before, during, and after DWP25.

More information is available on the official website.

Preparation from Local Heroes

During the press conference, local heroes shared brief updates on their preparations.

Adnan Veron shared an update on his preparation.

He said that about 80 percent of his set was already complete.

He also revealed his plan to introduce a new subgenre called Bassline Bounce.

This subgenre will officially become part of his catalog starting in 2026.

HRBP admitted that he felt nervous because he would perform solo this year.

However, he also felt excited to present his personal approach to music.

He promised a harder set and confirmed that he, too, would highlight Bassline Bounce.

Sihk explained that he would perform as Oschie, delivering hardstyle, hardcore, and hard techno.

Since these genres are still emerging in Indonesia, he planned to create an intense audio experience for the audience.

Lineup Curation and Competition for Next Year

When we asked about the lineup, especially the “Bali-coded” comments from some of the fans, Sarah shared how the process began.

She said the team started scouting artists as early as late 2024.

They looked for talent that could bring fresh energy and match the island’s growing musical identity.

She added that they considered public enthusiasm and aimed to introduce new experiences for Indonesia’s electronic music community.

We also asked about ISMAYA Live’s perspective on Tomorrowland Thailand, which is set for December 2026.

Many people see the new festival as direct competition for DWP’s traditional year-end slot.

So, we wanted to hear their thoughts on how it might affect the landscape.

Sarah admitted that the announcement had made the team nervous at first.

However, she later saw the situation differently.

She viewed the arrival of a new festival as a positive addition to the regional ecosystem.

Rather than dwell on the presence of new competitors, she explained that the team chose to stay centered on their own goals.

They aimed to deliver the signature ISMAYA Live festival experience.

The kind of experience that audiences have come to recognize and appreciate.

Don’t miss the excitement of DWP25. See you at the Island of Gods!
