For Trance, that moment arrived in the 1990s and continued into the early 2000s.
During those years, its sound took over clubs around the world and defined an entire generation of dance floors.
Although the genre never fully disappeared, it gradually slipped out of the spotlight, including in Indonesia.
However, as with many music movements, Trance has begun to rise again.
Over the past two years, the genre has shown clear signs of revival.
One of the clearest signs of this shift comes from Tiësto.
Known worldwide as a Trance icon, he once stepped away to explore other musical styles.
Recently, however, he has returned to his roots, bringing full Trance sets back to the stages of major music festivals.
His move reflects a wider shift in audience interest and energy.

TranceForce Took The Momentum of Trance Rising
In Jakarta, this renewed momentum has grown into a movement led by Anthem Jakarta through a program called TranceForce.
The idea is simple and focused. TranceForce dedicates an entire night exclusively to Trance music.
The event features a fixed lineup with DJ Jet and MC Rongkie, while also welcoming rotating guests from Indonesia’s Trance community.
The program runs monthly on Saturdays, creating a consistent home for Trance fans.
The first TranceForce edition took place in December 2025 and delivered a strong debut.
DJ Jet and MC Rongkie shared the stage with Kimm, Six Pratama, and LTN.
The event received positive responses and confirmed strong demand for Trance-focused nights in the city.
Building on that success, TranceForce returned to Anthem Jakarta on January 24, 2026.
This edition brought together DJ Jet, DillanStar, Nikki Frazetta, and Indonesian Trance legend Innerlight, with MC Rongkie handling crowd control.
The night at Level 48, inside the International Financial Centre Tower 2, unfolded without pause.
Classic Trance anthems filled the room and set the tone.
As the hours passed, those familiar sounds blended naturally into newer releases, keeping the energy moving from start to finish.
DillanStar and Nikki Frazetta opened the night by setting the mood and warming up the crowd.
As the energy peaked, DJ Jet took over and filled the dance floor with a powerful main set.
Innerlight then closed the night with a legendary performance, delivering a hypnotic journey that fully captivated the audience.
With two successful editions completed, TranceForce continues to strengthen its position in Jakarta’s nightlife scene.
Looking ahead, the event plans to return with more Trance talents and fresh concepts, further supporting the genre’s growing comeback in Indonesia.
