A Surprise Performance in Times Square from Benny Benassi
The celebration began with an unexpected DJ set in Times Square.
Benny Benassi teamed up with Twitch and the Times Square Alliance for the performance.
He took over a yellow school bus that had been transformed into a fully equipped DJ booth.
From there, he delivered a live set in the heart of Times Square.
The surprise appearance was also streamed worldwide, drawing large crowds of fans and curious visitors while setting an energetic tone for the weekend.
The citywide tour continued with a lighthearted stop at the iconic Scarr’s Pizza.
Benassi briefly stepped behind the counter as a pizza maker, serving slices to visitors before heading to Marquee New York.
There, he headlined the official Feel The Bass album release party with a late-night performance.

Performing Above the Manhattan Skyline
On Saturday, Benassi brought the celebration to one of New York City’s highest venues.
He delivered a rooftop DJ set at The Edge Skydeck at 30 Hudson Yards, performing more than 1,000 feet above the streets.
The Manhattan skyline provided a dramatic backdrop as fans gathered for another memorable performance.
The final day of the takeover highlighted another side of Benny Benassi’s creativity.
He joined the TD Five Boro Bike Tour, a 40-mile charity ride supporting Bike New York’s free cycling education programs.
A longtime cycling enthusiast, Benassi transformed the ride into a moving performance by DJing live while riding a custom-built Canyon bicycle.
The event began with New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani and welcomed thousands of participants.
Benassi’s appearance demonstrated how live electronic music could become part of a real-world community experience rather than remaining confined to traditional venues.
The weekend concluded at Mi Casa Studios, where Benassi hosted an intimate pop-up performance and an open decks session.
Scarr’s Pizza also returned to provide pizza for attendees, bringing the celebration full circle.
