Lancaster, Pennsylvania rock band From Ashes To New have released their new album, “Reflections,” via Better Noise Music.
The record follows the success of “Blackout” (2023), which previously reached No. 1 on multiple rock and metal charts worldwide.
Alongside the album, the band also unveiled the official music video for their latest single, “Forever.”
The song combines reflective verses with explosive choruses and breakdowns, highlighting the band’s signature balance between melody and intensity.
According to vocalist Matt Brandyberry, “Forever” was the final song completed during the album sessions.
It came together only after every other piece had fallen into place.
Brandyberry described the track as the emotional aftermath of irreversible loss.
It captures the feeling of looking back at something that cannot be fixed. At the same time, it explores regret that refuses to let go.

From Ashes To New Push Their Creative Boundaries
Brandyberry also explained that the band deliberately challenged themselves throughout the making of “Reflections.”
Rather than taking a safe approach, they wanted to grow creatively and produce music that would leave a lasting impact.
He added that “Forever” intentionally avoids a clean resolution, allowing its emotional tension to linger.
Although “Reflections” is not a concept album, it shares a strong emotional connection across its songs.
The band explained that many tracks explore the feeling of existing in a personal purgatory.
It is a place where something better always seems within reach, yet unseen forces continue pulling a person backward.

The Band Reinvent Their Sound
During the writing process, From Ashes To New discarded most of the material they had originally created.
Out of 16 demo songs, only two remained.
The decision became a turning point that allowed the band to stay true to its identity while expanding its appeal to a broader audience.
The band explained that every song on “Reflections” helped shape the direction of its evolving sound.
Instead of looking back at who they once were, the album focuses on where they want to go next.
They also emphasized that they held nothing back during the creative process.
With 12 tracks, “Reflections” presents a bolder musical approach without losing the characteristics that define From Ashes To New.
The album also includes the successful single “Drag Me,” which has reached the Top 10 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.
Overall, “Reflections” serves as both an honest statement of the band’s current identity and a clear vision for its future.
