Budakid has announced his debut album, Dreams Stretched Beyond, set for release on July 3 through his own label, Flores.
He introduces the project with the lead single Endless, which also marks the first time his vocals take on a central role in his music.
This album arrives after nearly two decades of experience in electronic music.
Raised in a musical family with Indonesian roots, Budakid first explored rhythm as a drummer before shifting toward drum machines.
Over time, rhythm remained a defining element in his productions.
He spent four years studying music theory at a conservatory, building a strong technical foundation along the way.
During that time, his understanding of music grew deeper. Little by little, his confidence followed.
He began to trust his own voice, not just as a producer, but as a performer as well.
From there, he chose to handle everything himself. From writing, producing, and recording his music independently.

Creative Process from Budakid
The foundation of Dreams Stretched Beyond took shape during a quieter chapter in his life.
He stepped away from the usual noise of the scene and spent several years in the Alps.
In that isolated setting, he focused entirely on creating music.
Surrounded by calm landscapes, he developed ideas in solitude and refined them into the body of work that now forms the album.
The lead single Endless reflects the uncertainty that often comes with choosing a life in music.
Budakid has suggested that the track captures the feeling of moving forward without clear guarantees, as if falling into an unknown future.
However, that sense of uncertainty becomes easier to face when shared with someone else.
Musically, the track builds on warm keyboard layers and subtle shifts between major and minor tones.
Gradually, echoing synths expand into a spacious and cinematic atmosphere.
His vocals enter gently, adding an emotional layer that signals the depth and complexity of the album as a whole.
Dreams Stretched Beyond will be available on July 3 in both 2LP vinyl and digital formats via Flores.
Meanwhile, Endless is already out across streaming platforms, offering a first glimpse into the album’s introspective and immersive direction.
