Ukrainian electronic artist ODYSSAY has returned to ODA Recordings with “Consent.”
It is a new melodic techno release inspired by the emotional intensity of his live performances.
The track combines driving club rhythms with cinematic melodies. It also features powerful choir vocals that elevate its emotional impact.
ODYSSAY built “Consent” around rising tension and melodic progression.
The production originally did not include choir vocals. That changed during rehearsals for the ODA Symphony performance at Kyiv’s Palace of Sports.
After hearing the live choir, he decided to keep it in the studio version.
The additional vocals became one of the song’s defining elements and expanded its emotional depth.
This release also arrives with a live performance video from ODA Symphony.
The visual allows listeners to experience the energy that has made the track a standout during his concerts.

ODYSSAY Says Fans Have Been Waiting for the Release
ODYSSAY explained that audiences had repeatedly asked when “Consent” would finally become available after hearing it during his live shows.
He also described the decision to include the choir as a turning point in the production.
According to the producer, the live arrangement brought a raw energy that felt too powerful to leave behind.
The artist performs exclusively as a live electronic artist rather than following the traditional DJ format.
He creates each performance using analog synthesizers, live vocals, and hardware instruments in real time.
His signature all-white stage outfit also sets him apart from the darker visual style commonly associated with techno.
His music has earned international attention through releases on labels including Interstellar, Armada Music, Purified Records, and Black Hole Recordings.
Earlier in his career, his single “Before You Go” received Track of the Year honors from Kiss FM.
A Career Built on Breaking New Ground
ODYSSAY also became the first Ukrainian electronic artist to headline and sell out Kyiv’s Palace of Sports.
More than 7,000 people attended the performance despite wartime conditions.
The event highlighted the growing impact of live electronic music in Eastern Europe.
With “Consent,” the producer continues to blur the line between underground club music and emotionally immersive live performances.
The release further strengthens his distinctive artistic identity while showcasing the evolution of his sound.
