Argentinian artist Juan Hansen has released his debut album, Ultrasonido.
The 12-track project arrives through his newly founded label, Ultrasonido Records.
The album moves across indie dance, tech house, and melodic house.
It also reflects Hansen’s background as a live musician, multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, and electronic artist.
Since his breakthrough Boiler Room appearance in 2019, Hansen has continued to expand his sound.
He has performed on major stages around the world while becoming an important figure in Argentina’s electronic music scene.
Juan Hansen Blends Songs and Dancefloor Energy
Ultrasonido brings together two sides of Hansen’s musical identity.
The album moves between emotional songwriting and direct dancefloor production.
Its central idea comes from the Buenos Aires expression “Sentime este gru,” which roughly translates to “feel this groove with me.”
The phrase captures the album’s approach to music as something that should be experienced rather than overanalyzed.
Across the 12 tracks, Hansen draws inspiration from different places.
Some grooves come from clubs, while others emerge from acoustic instruments and spontaneous moments.
Vocals also play an important role, with some delivered in a more intimate and understated style.
The album moves between Spanish and English while shifting between club-focused tracks and more song-oriented compositions.
Together, the tracks trace Hansen’s musical background while pointing toward his next chapter.
The Album Takes Shape Through a Series of Releases
The journey toward Ultrasonido began with “Ninjas” featuring Clér Letiv, which arrived on May 29.
The track pays tribute to Argentine dancefloor culture and the intense energy of local crowds.
Hansen followed it with “Inside My Mind”, a collaboration with Franco BA featuring Miko Franconi.
Released through Innellea’s Belonging label on June 19, the track brings an uplifting and indie-leaning character to the project.
On July 10, Hansen teamed up with Brigado Crew for “Gambeta.”
The dembow-influenced tech house track adds a stronger rhythmic element to the album.
Then came “Neon Maze” on July 31.
The hypnotic late-night cut represents one of the album’s most direct club moments and highlights the more driving side of Hansen’s production.

Juan Hansen Completes the Journey With Two Final Tracks
The full album adds two final pieces to the story.
“Love Also Bites” featuring Marley Waters serves as the emotional breakbeat closer.
Waters’ vocals add another layer to the contrast between movement and emotion that runs throughout the album.
The record also features “Sentir Asi (Part II)” with Santi Portillo.
Following the original “Sentir Asi,” the track pushes the concept further with a club-focused approach that sits between indie dance and tech house.
Together, these final tracks reinforce the album’s central idea: music can connect physical energy with emotional expression.
A Musical Foundation Built Beyond Electronic Music
Hansen’s relationship with music began with acoustic instruments.
Before moving into electronic music, he developed his foundation through Argentina’s indie and rock scenes.
That background remains present in his current work.
He combines electronic production with analog instruments and organic soundscapes, creating a style that avoids strict genre boundaries.
His live performances have taken him from Cosquín Rock and Ultra in Argentina to Watergate in Berlin, Burning Man in Nevada, and Grand Factory in Beirut.
These experiences have also shaped his approach to improvisation and live performance.
“Ultrasonido” Opens a New Chapter
With Ultrasonido, Hansen brings his different musical roles together in one project.
The album connects his work as a songwriter, vocalist, live musician, and electronic producer.
It also marks the beginning of a new chapter through Ultrasonido Records.
After years of singles, EPs, and international performances, the debut album offers a broader look at Hansen’s musical world.
