On August 24, 2019, the Erasmus Huis Dance Event (EHDE) brought a vibrant blend of Dutch and Indonesian dance music to Jakarta.

Hosted at Erasmus Huis, the cultural center of the Netherlands Embassy, the event featured free entry for all ages and offered a packed schedule of performances and programs.

The event included live DJ sets with dazzling visuals and effects, masterclasses, seminars, a photo exhibition, street art installations, and a demo-drop session for young dance music producers seeking industry exposure.

  • Ninda Felina, known for combining music with environmental themes, debuted Birds of Paradise, a dance track featuring real jungle sounds recorded in West Papua.
  • Zushi, a graduate of the Herman Brood Academy, performed fresh tracks including Favela Funk, recently released on Barong Family.
  • Thomas Newson, supported by EDM legends like Tiësto and Hardwell, showcased why many see him as one of Holland’s next big names in house music.
  • SIHK, who lit up stages at Tomorrowland and worked with artists like Rich Brian and NIKI, delivered an electrifying set drawn from his releases on Barong Family.
  • Andy Samin, former member of DJ duo Mightyfools and now A&R for Barong Family, returned to the stage with a fresh perspective from behind the scenes.
