The Story Behind Collaboration Between Nuh… and Basboi
Nuh… chose Basboi for his unique storytelling style in rap.
In turn, Basboi found the experience meaningful, as the process allowed both of them to stay true to their identities while still creating something cohesive.
He took a moment to reflect on their collaboration.
He realized that they come from very different backgrounds, both in personality and in musical approach.
Even so, those differences did not create distance. Instead, they found a way to understand each other.
Over time, that mutual understanding grew stronger and eventually shaped a solid connection through the song.
The creative process ran smoothly, even though they worked remotely between Medan and Jakarta.
With support from producer Bio Satrio, they shaped lyrics that feel simple, balanced, and easy to connect with.
Looking back, Nuh… released Teruntuk Mia in May 2024 and initially thought it might be his final work as he focused on his career and personal life.
However, the track gained massive attention and reached more than 56 million listeners.
Through Yank, he chooses to move forward without pressure from those numbers.
He emphasized that his goal is not to chase viral success, but simply to create music that people enjoy as a form of appreciation for his listeners.
Yank also serves as the first step toward his second full-length album, Sarapan di Minggu Pagi, which will feature nine tracks and is scheduled for release in mid-May 2026.
The album will bring together previous singles such as Teruntuk Mia and Simpan Dulu Rindu, along with Yank, an intro titled Niat Baik, and new songs like Cinta Tanpa Tapi and Teringat.
Through this upcoming project, Nuh… plans to maintain the honest songwriting that has become his signature, while continuing to share stories that feel close to everyday life.
