Anjunabeats has shared several major announcements.
They include Soundprank’s long-awaited return, a new release from Sunny Lax, the launch of the Anjunabeats Warehouse event series, and fresh remixes of the trance classic “Fiji.”
Soundprank Returns to Anjunabeats After Nine Years
Multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer Soundprank is making his return to the label after spending nine years away from dance music.
Sunny Lax has released more than 40 tracks on Anjunabeats. Now, he returns with “Gravity Of Sleep,” another energetic anthem for the dancefloor.
In 2014, he debuted on the label with “Gemini / Atlantic” before releasing several more records over the following years.
In 2018, Fisher stepped away from dance music to focus on composing.
During that time, he created music and remixes for trailers of major video game titles, including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Battlefield V, Apex Legends, Diablo, and FIFA 18 World Cup.
Now, he returns with “As Within, So Below EP,” a four-track project that highlights his versatility.
The EP moves between atmospheric ambient soundscapes and energetic electronic productions. It will arrive on Anjunabeats on August 7.
Sunny Lax Delivers Another Trance Anthem
Longtime Anjunabeats artist Sunny Lax is also set to return with his latest single, “Gravity Of Sleep.”
Above & Beyond first introduced the track on the Anjunabeats Volume 17 compilation, where it quickly became a fan favorite.
Levente Márton was born in Romania to Hungarian parents. At 13, he taught himself music production using tutorial CDs included with magazines.
He later made his Anjunabeats debut in 2006 with “P.U.M.A. / Casseopeia.”
His career has since produced standout releases, including “Enceladus,” which earned support from Armin van Buuren, Kaskade, Paul van Dyk, and Axwell Λ Ingrosso.
In 2023, he released his debut album, “Crystals,” inspired by his spiritual growth following the COVID-19 pandemic.
With more than 40 releases on Anjunabeats, Sunny Lax continues to expand his catalog with “Gravity Of Sleep.”

Anjunabeats Launches Warehouse Events
Above & Beyond will introduce a new event concept called Anjunabeats Warehouse this October.
The series will visit Liverpool, Birmingham, and Bristol in the UK.
Inspired by the energy of the Anjunabeats Volume 17 launch party in London, each event will feature more than eight hours of music.
Above & Beyond will headline every show. More artists from the Anjunabeats roster will be announced soon.
The Story Behind “Fiji”
Released in 1999 by UK trio Atlantis, “Fiji” has become one of trance music’s most enduring classics.
The song was created by George Winkworth, Lloyd Horton, and Paul Kershaw, who operated an independent record store and basement studio in Leamington Spa.
Their studio became a creative meeting point for producers, DJs, and clubbers exploring the evolving progressive trance sound.
In 1998, severe flooding destroyed the studio along with years of equipment, recordings, and instruments.
Instead of ending their journey, the trio rebuilt the studio from scratch.
During their first session in the new space, they created the now-iconic riff that became “Fiji.”
The group also adopted the name Atlantis, inspired by the flooded studio and the idea of rising again after being submerged.
That story of resilience became part of the track’s identity.
Nearly 30 years later, Oliver Smith, Yeadon, and Slipstream (George Winkworth’s solo alias) have delivered new remixes of the beloved trance classic.
