Berlin-based producer and DJ Bae Blade is launching her own independent record label, B.A.E. – Build Around Energy.

She introduces the imprint with her new three-track EP, INTRODUCING BAEDDIES, which arrives on September 25.

The project begins with “HEY MAMI,” the EP’s high-energy lead single.

The track is already available and offers a first look at the sound and attitude behind B.A.E.

Bae Blade Builds a Label Around Creative Freedom

B.A.E. grew from Bae Blade’s own experience as an electronic artist.

After years of searching for a space that matched her creative needs, she decided to build one herself.

The label aims to create a supportive home for electronic artists.

It focuses on giving them space to develop their identities while maintaining control over their work, visuals, and creative direction.

Bae Blade also brings her own musical identity into the project.

Her sound combines techno, hard dance, and breaks with high-energy, kitschy, and edgy elements.

“HEY MAMI” Sets the Energy for B.A.E.

“HEY MAMI” introduces the label through an intense and playful club sound.

The production moves at a rapid pace, driven by layered breakbeat percussion and sharp rhythmic details.

Squealing sirens and pulsating synths add tension to the arrangement.

Distorted melodies, hoover and Doppler effects, and dark fuzzy tones give the track an aggressive edge.

Bae Blade also uses increasingly processed rap-style vocals to add another layer to the production.

Despite its complex details, the track keeps its purpose simple. It is designed to get people dancing.

The producer approached the track with a different mindset from her earlier work.

Instead of overthinking the production, she focused on creating something that would make her want to dance.

B.A.E. Starts a New Chapter

INTRODUCING BAEDDIES therefore serves as both a label debut and a statement of intent.

“HEY MAMI” sets the tone with its fast-paced energy, while the full EP introduces the direction B.A.E. plans to explore.
