Good Morning Everyone (GME) has officially released its latest EP, “Kalah,” across all digital music platforms.
The project marks a special collaboration between GME and Fiersa Besari. He appears on every track.
Through that, he enriches the alternative pop sound the Semarang-based unit built its name on.
“Kalah” brings together four songs: “Salah,” “Ia,” “Salah (Acoustic Version),” and “Ia (Acoustic Version).”
“Salah” speaks to someone who’s always seen as being in the wrong in their partner’s eyes.
“Ia” invites listeners to see another side of a breakup.
A relationship has to end, not because one side is entirely at fault, but because two people no longer walk in the same direction.
GME explains that “Ia” is about accepting that not everything has to be forced to survive.
Some relationships eventually need to be let go, not because the love disappeared, but because both people realize their paths have diverged.

How GME Approach to the Acoustic Versions
The acoustic versions on “Kalah” reflect how GME and Fiersa Besari chose to put the story at the center of the listening experience.
With simpler arrangements, both versions give more room for the lyrics and emotion of each song to speak for themselves.
GME shares that the story in this EP feels stronger when delivered simply.
It’s like listening to someone tell a story directly, without much ornamentation.
The collaboration with Fiersa Besari brings together GME’s everyday, relatable lyrical style with Fiersa’s own sensitivity as a storyteller.
The result is four songs that trace the process of losing, being wrong, accepting, and finally letting go within a relationship.
It’s a personal experience, yet one that resonates closely with many listeners.
For GME, “Kalah” continues their creative journey as one of Semarang’s alternative pop units.
The group consists of Sani (vocals), Daniel (guitar), Erwin (keyboard), Dani (bass), and Yuli (guitar).
GME previously earned a nomination at the 2016 AMI Awards for “Move On” and performed as a guest artist at the Zandari Festival in South Korea in 2023.
“Kalah” is now available on all digital music platforms.
