For this release, Daun Jatuh maintains the musical style that listeners have come to know.
However, the duo chose a simpler production approach to place greater focus on the song’s emotional message.
Current members Verrel Alvirizky and Timothy Gunung Tua took an active role throughout the creative process.
The pair wrote and produced bukan tentangmu together with Frastian Panca, guitarist of Magnolia Celebration.
Irene Edmar Irawan later handled the mixing and mastering at Studio Roemah Iponk.
A New Beginning as an Independent Band
Daun Jatuh said becoming an independent band has given them more creative freedom.
The duo now has greater flexibility to develop its own ideas, from songwriting to production.
They also intentionally created a more minimalist arrangement so the lyrics could connect more closely with listeners.
