Rising solo artist Lusant has officially introduced himself to Indonesia’s music scene with his debut single, “Tak Pernah Jadi Rumah.”

The song will be available on all major digital streaming platforms.

The single features an emotional pop sound with heartfelt storytelling. It explores sincere love and personal sacrifice.

The song also reflects on the difficult process of letting go of someone who never truly saw you as their home.

Lusant Shares a Story of Love and Letting Go

The song was inspired by Lusant’s personal experience before evolving into a story that many listeners can relate to.

It follows someone who gives their time, attention, and love wholeheartedly but still cannot win the heart of the person they love.

The story ends with a message of sincere hope. The song wishes happiness for that person.

Even if it means finding it with someone else.

Lusant explained that the word “home” in the song does not refer to a physical place.

Instead, it represents a space where someone feels accepted, comfortable, and always wants to return.

He added that people sometimes try to become that place for someone, only to realize they were never truly their home.

Lusant Collaborates With Double D Production

The songwriting and production process took around three weeks. Lusant worked with Double D Production on the project.

Ncex and Yoga Patria served as both composers and arrangers.

Yoga Patria is widely known as the guitarist and principal songwriter of the Bandung pop-rock band Nineball.

He helped create several well-known songs, including “Hingga Akhir Waktu.”

Ncex also brings years of experience in Indonesia’s music industry, including his work as the arranger for Joeniar Arif’s album Sesungguhnya.

The collaboration resulted in an arrangement that builds gradually.

The song opens with a calm atmosphere before reaching an emotional climax that strengthens the meaning of its lyrics.

Lusant’s vocal performance also plays a central role in guiding listeners through every emotional stage of the song.

Emotional Pop Defines Lusant’s Musical Identity

Lusant chose “Tak Pernah Jadi Rumah” as his debut because he believes it best represents his musical identity and emotional journey as an artist.

He describes his style as emotional pop, an approach that focuses on storytelling, dynamic arrangements, and honest emotional expression.

Lusant draws much of his musical inspiration from Korean emotional pop and gospel music.

He believes both genres express emotion through melody, harmony, and vocal character.

A First Step Toward Lusant’s Debut EP

More than a heartbreak song, “Tak Pernah Jadi Rumah” encourages listeners to see letting go as acceptance rather than defeat.

The song reminds people that sincere love sometimes means having the courage to let someone go while continuing to wish them happiness.

Lusant hopes the single can comfort anyone who has loved deeply without being able to stay with the person they love.

He believes that while not every love story ends in togetherness, every experience can teach the value of acceptance.

The single also marks the beginning of Lusant’s debut EP, which will be released gradually.

The three-track project will tell an interconnected story about loss, emotional wounds, and making peace with oneself.

Through his first release, Lusant hopes to create music that listeners can truly feel.

He wants every song to help people understand their own emotions and remind them they are not alone in facing love, loss, and acceptance.
