NOISER, a thrash metal band from Pekanbaru, Riau, Indonesia, officially released their debut full-length album, HUMANIORA, on August 28, 2026.
The album marks an important milestone for NOISER since the band formed in late 2021.
It also brings together the concerns, observations, and ideas they have expressed through their music and lyrics.
For NOISER, HUMANIORA is more than a collection of songs. It reflects humanity and its many contradictions.
The album explores power, greed, conflict, hatred, destruction, morality, and the struggle to survive.
Driven by aggressive thrash metal, sharp guitar riffs, and intense drumming, HUMANIORA gives NOISER a platform to address social and humanitarian issues.
Its lyrics draw from the things the band sees and experiences in their surroundings.
From Find The Throne to HUMANIORA
NOISER began releasing recorded material with their 2022 single, Find The Throne, before working toward their debut album.
The track helped introduce the band’s musical identity.
It explores ambition, power, conflict, and humanity’s relentless pursuit of the throne amid destruction.
The song became an important part of NOISER’s early journey.
Three years later, NOISER returned with Syair Memabukkan in 2025.
The single criticizes human behavior, claims of truth, ego, and the various forms of hypocrisy found in society.
Interestingly, Syair Memabukkan later became part of HUMANIORA.
Its place alongside seven other tracks gives the single a broader context within the band’s debut album.

HUMANIORA Examines the Many Faces of Humanity
The album contains eight tracks with a total runtime of approximately 25 minutes and 52 seconds.
It delivers a compact listening experience without stretching its material beyond what is necessary.
Several tracks stand out, including Tuan Makan Senjata, Sampah Peradaban, Istana, and Syair Memabukkan.
Tuan Makan Senjata criticizes social realities, power, and the struggles faced by people living amid the country’s many problems.
Meanwhile, Sampah Peradaban examines humanity’s darker side.
It explores how human behavior can gradually turn people into contributors to the destruction of their own civilization.
Through Istana, NOISER offers another perspective on power and the world built around it.
Syair Memabukkan, meanwhile, captures the band’s concerns about ego, claims of truth, and human behavior in social life.
Together, these four tracks form part of a broader picture of humanity as both the creator and the victim of the world it builds.
NOISER Turns Noise Into a Message
The name NOISER may sound straightforward, suggesting something loud, harsh, and disruptive.
For this band from Pekanbaru, however, the noise carries a message.
Since forming in late 2021, NOISER have used thrash metal as a medium to channel their concerns through aggressive musical energy.
Their journey has also taken them to various stages and opportunities.
In 2025, the band performed alongside Burgerkill at Porak Poranda, an event that formed part of Burgerkill’s Sumatra tour.
With HUMANIORA, NOISER now seeks to take that message further. The album does not attempt to answer every question about humanity.
Instead, it raises questions and challenges listeners to look at people as human beings.
Ultimately, beneath power, hatred, ambition, religion, politics, status, and the identities people construct, one thing remains unavoidable: humanity.
And that is what HUMANIORA is all about.
