Tobias Bergson Continues His Rise
Bergson has also attracted attention from media outlets including DJ Mag, 1001 Tracklists, Mixmag Germany, Mixmag Netherlands, YourEDM, and House Music With Love.
Radio stations such as CBC Music’s Afterdark, KCRW’s Metropolis, and RTÉ 2FM have also featured his music, further expanding his international profile.
His journey into music began at the age of 17.
Instead of learning traditional instruments, he focused on programming and music production using his computer.
That approach eventually shaped a signature sound that balances emotional melodies with dancefloor energy.
Bergson draws inspiration from artists such as Deadmau5, Ben Böhmer, Rampa, and Chris Malinchak.
He blends elements of deep house, progressive house, techno, lounge, and melodic electronic music.
The result is a sound that balances emotion with dancefloor appeal.
His productions often combine melancholic atmospheres with uplifting textures, creating an emotional yet club-friendly listening experience.
Exploring a New Direction
“Trust” is driven by a bouncing arpeggiated bassline layered over a minimal four-on-the-floor groove.
The track opens with a darker deep house atmosphere. Additional synths and textures gradually build throughout the arrangement.
As they emerge, the record evolves into a more spacious melodic techno production.
The release continues Bergson’s productive year while highlighting his evolving production style.
The track is expected to appeal to listeners who enjoy artists such as Robert Miles, Lane 8, and Solomun.
Speaking about the production, Bergson said he created “Trust” last summer while drawing significant inspiration from Stephan Bodzin.
He believes the result is a melodic techno record that could easily fit into DJ sets across both the melodic techno and deep house scenes.
