Tomorrowland will once again light up its Mainstage with fireworks during Weekend 2.
The festival is taking a much more cautious approach.
Drought conditions and wildfire concerns forced organizers to ban pyrotechnics throughout the opening weekend.
Organizers confirmed that a reduced fireworks display will return. The show will operate under strict safety protocols throughout the weekend.

The organizer said safety remains its highest priority. Fireworks will only appear during selected moments of the Mainstage performances.
Festival organizers will also conduct a daily assessment before approving each show.
The evaluation will involve local authorities, the festival’s on-site meteorologist, and the Event Control Centre (ECC) team.
Festival organizers has introduced several extra precautions beyond its daily weather assessments.
The festival has stationed permanent fire guards across the venue.
Festival organizers has also deployed additional security personnel around the Mainstage to monitor conditions throughout the day and night.
Organizers also stressed that the fireworks are not guaranteed.
They may reduce or cancel the pyrotechnic display at any time if weather conditions change or new safety concerns emerge.
The festival emphasized that public safety will always take priority over the production.

Fireworks Were Banned During Weekend 1
The situation was very different during the opening weekend. Local authorities imposed a complete fireworks ban.
Those involved included Boom Mayor Jeroen Baert, Rumst Mayor Jurgen Callaerts, Antwerp Provincial Governor Cathy Berx, and the local fire brigade.
Authorities made the decision after the province entered a Code Orange alert because of dry weather and an elevated wildfire risk.
The fireworks ban marked a significant change for the festival.

Festival organizers now hope weather conditions remain favorable throughout Weekend 2.
