Seeing Above & Beyond twice in one year felt special for Jakarta’s trance fans.
After their appearance at SHVR Ground Festival in May 2017, the duo returned on December 8 for a headline show at Colosseum Club.
From the start, excitement ran high.
Presale tickets sold out quickly, and even regular tickets continued to move fast as fans refused to miss the night.
Early in the evening, the club began to fill.
Local residents Six Pratama and Marquee opened the night and slowly built the energy.
Soon after, Trilions took over the decks, and by then, half of the main hall was already packed.
Many attendees wore Above & Beyond-themed shirts, while others brought posters and flags that showed their dedication.

Above & Beyond Brought The House Down
At 1:30 AM WIB, Jono Grant and Tony McGuinness stepped onto the stage.
The room erupted instantly.
As part of their familiar ritual, the duo pointed the camera toward the crowd and displayed it on the big screen behind them.
Each time faces appeared on the visuals, cheers echoed across the venue.
Throughout the set, Tony and Jono focused on Anjuna releases alongside their own signature material, including “Another Chance.”
In addition, they filled the screens with warm and uplifting messages, reinforcing the positive spirit that defines an Above & Beyond show.
They also introduced tracks from their upcoming album Common Ground.
Songs like “My Own Hymn,” “Tightrope,” “Northern Soul,” and “Alright Now” turned the crowd into a massive choir.
When the intro of “Blue Sky Action” dropped, everyone knew it was time for the famous “Push The Button” moment.
The duo invited a couple from India to take part, creating a highlight many fans will remember for years.
Soon after, Above & Beyond surprised the audience with “Satellite” and “Sun & Moon.”
During “Satellite,” they lowered the volume and let the crowd sing the melody on their own.
They closed the night with “Sun & Moon,” a moment so emotional that many fans sang through tears.
After two hours, Jono and Tony wrapped up their set.
Still, the crowd kept chanting for more.
Although the duo had finished, LTN continued the party and carried the energy until morning.
The night ended on a personal note, as the we were invited backstage to meet Jono and Tony, who also acknowledged the blog with a friendly shoutout.
A Night To Remember
Once again, Above & Beyond showed why they remain masters of creating an atmosphere filled with love and connection.
Many attendees felt this performance surpassed their SHVR Ground Festival set earlier that year.
The timing, just after ABGT 250 and with fresh material from Common Ground, seemed to add extra weight to the experience.
Among all the shows attended at Colosseum Club in 2017, this one stood out the most.
The magic did not come only from a packed room, but from the mood itself.
The positive energy flowed from Above & Beyond into every corner of the hall.
Each section of the room felt alive. As a result, the night unfolded like an intimate ABGT session, a feeling that could only exist in that space.
