Following the release of her album Cerita Kita in October 2025, Fatin has returned with a new single titled “Tidur Siang.”
Fatin steps away from the love songs that have shaped much of her career.
She uses this single to reflect on life through a simple experience that many people can relate to.
Fatin Reflects on the Different Stages of Life
According to Fatin, “Tidur Siang” explores how people’s perspectives change as they grow older.
She explained that many children resist taking afternoon naps. As adults, however, finding time to rest becomes a luxury.
Through the song, she encourages listeners to appreciate every stage of life, whether joyful or difficult, and to accept each moment as it comes.
The single marks Fatin’s first collaboration with songwriter Will Mara. Their creative chemistry developed immediately during their first meeting.
The pair spent time exchanging ideas about the lyrics and melodies. They completed the song during that initial writing session.
The writing process moved quickly. Within five hours, they finished the lyrics, melody, and demo recording.
The remaining production and recording process took around one month before the song was ready for release.
Fatin also shared that the project came together smoothly thanks to the support of her production team.
In addition to the digital release, “Tidur Siang” is accompanied by an official music video.
Fatin worked with Sebastian from Angankara, whose creative concept matched the message she wanted to deliver through the song.

Growing Together With Her Fans
Choosing “Tidur Siang” as her new single carries special meaning for Fatin.
As she enters her thirties, Fatin wanted to present something different for the fans who have supported her since the beginning of her career.
She hopes the song reminds listeners not to place unnecessary pressure on themselves.
Instead, she encourages them to enjoy every phase of life and trust that everything will happen at the right time.
Fatin also hopes “Tidur Siang” will inspire nostalgia while accompanying listeners as they continue growing into adulthood.
“Tidur Siang” has been available on all major digital streaming platforms since July 30.
