Black Coffee is set to headline a special open-air show at Budapest’s historic Buda Castle on August 14, 2026.
The Grammy-winning DJ and producer will perform at the UNESCO World Heritage site overlooking the Danube River from Castle Hill.
The event will welcome just 2,000 attendees, making it one of the most intimate stops on his summer tour.

Black Coffee Returns to Budapest After 12 Years
The limited capacity makes the Budapest show a rare opportunity for fans.
It also offers a different setting from the large festival stages where Black Coffee regularly performs.
The event marks his first performance in Budapest in 12 years. Longtime fans in the Hungarian capital will finally have the chance to see him return.
The show is presented by BSH Events in partnership with local promoter City Takeover. It also marks BSH Events’ first production in Hungary.
BSH Events has built a reputation for organizing electronic music events at culturally significant venues. Buda Castle continues that approach.
The Budapest event also follows Black Coffee’s appearance at BSH Amphitheatre Pula in Croatia just two weeks earlier.
Over the past two decades, Black Coffee has established himself as one of the leading names in Afro house.
His productions, festival headline performances, and Ibiza residencies have helped introduce the genre to wider audiences around the world.
He also became one of the few African DJs to headline major international festivals.
In 2022, he won the Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album with Subconsciously, further strengthening his global reputation.
Buda Castle Provides a Historic Setting
Buda Castle has stood above Budapest since the 13th century.
Today, its Baroque palace complex remains one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks.
The venue regularly hosts cultural events, although concerts of this scale are relatively uncommon.
For BSH Events, the show represents both its debut in Hungary and another example of its strategy to combine electronic music with historically important locations.
The Budapest event also extends the ongoing partnership between Black Coffee and BSH Events.
Black Coffee and BSH have partnered on several events across Europe.
The promoter is also expanding its destination-focused electronic music events into new markets beyond Croatia.
