Inside New EP of Echoes, We Hide
It opens with the title track, followed by Friksi and Nadir. These additions do more than complete the narrative.
They expand the emotional range and introduce new textures to the band’s blend of emo and rock.
Bayu explained that all tracks connect to form a single emotional journey.
Each song reflects a different phase, moving from loss and collapse toward gradual self-recovery.
He also noted that the EP goes beyond a simple collection of songs.
It serves as a reminder that pain does not last forever, and healing takes time, acceptance, and the courage to let go.
Vallian, who also produced the EP, described the process as the most exploratory phase of his career.
He shared that the project challenged him to deliver a sense of honesty, so listeners can fully understand the message behind the music when experiencing the EP as a whole.
From a musical standpoint, the EP emphasizes a live band energy.
It also gives listeners space to interpret their own emotions while experiencing the songs, especially in a live setting.
Lyrically, the band avoids preaching. Instead, they choose to share feelings and experiences, offering a sense of comfort.
Like a quiet reassurance that others have faced similar moments and that moving forward remains possible.
