The Story Behind the Remix

Liv and Mim Nervo first gained worldwide recognition after co-writing David Guetta and Kelly Rowland’s “When Love Takes Over.”

The song won a Grammy Award and was later recognized by Billboard as the greatest dance-pop collaboration of all time.

The original version of “Don’t Let Me Put A Track On You” appears on Jairic’s 2025 EP, n=40.

The track highlights the rapper’s sharp lyricism and genre-blending approach.

It moves from a dark, atmospheric opening into a vocal-driven section before closing with a powerful hip-hop finale.

NERVO’s remix transforms the song into an energetic Techno production.

Jairic’s vocals sit alongside hard-hitting percussion and atmospheric pads, while the evolving arrangement delivers a dynamic festival-ready sound.

The remix is expected to appeal to fans of Nicky Romero, R3hab, and Thomas Gold.

Speaking about the collaboration, NERVO said the original track immediately stood out to them.

The duo decided to increase the tempo to match the energy of their live performances.

They added that the remix has worked well in their sets and hope listeners enjoy it as much as they do.
